Abstract

1312820 Sweet wrapping apparatus KOMBINAT NAGEMA VEB 22 July 1970 35523/70 Heading B8C An inserter 8 moving in an arcuate path pushes toffees T arriving on a transfer track 1 into engagement with a wrapper H and a counter-holder 9 which then move with the inserter 8 to place the toffee between the gripper jaws 4 of a wrapping wheel 2. The counterholder 9 then returns along the same arcuate path while the inserter 8 moves along a path X beneath the transfer track 1. The inserter 8 is driven by a drive wheel 11 through a toothed wheel 12, crank 14 and carrier member 16. The counter-holder 9 is also driven by the drive wheel 11 through a drive crank 21, links 23 and 27 connected through a bearing rocker 24, and a bell crank lever 20 which is also connected to the carrier member 16 through a rocking arm 18. The wrapper H, fed by rolls 5, 6, is cut into lengths by a pair of cutters 7.
