Abstract

1311949 Pressurized dispensing container SWISS ALUMINIUM Ltd 28 Aug 1970 [29 Aug 1969] 41585/70 Heading F1R A pressurized dispensing container comprises a cylindrical one piece body of aluminium or aluminium alloy of less than 0À4mm thickness connected to a spraying device 9 through a ring 4 secured to the body by a roll 16 accomodated within a neck in the body and a cap 6 of the same diameter as the body and held thereon by a projection 13 engaging over the roll. The cap 6 may be fast with the spraying device 9 or separate therefrom. The spraying device comprises a press button 14 and a nozzle 18 movable relative to the cap in an aperture 11, 12. The body is made by impact extrusion and stretching of a slug to reduce wall thickness to less than 0À4 mm and the body material is preferably an Al-Mn, Mg alloy (proportions specified).
