Abstract

1310491 Dewatering sludges DAVEY PAXMAN & CO Ltd 18 Feb 1970 [28 Nov 1968] 56564/68 Heading C1C Sludges are in a two stage filtration process using a rotary thickner in the initial stage and a rotary compression filter in the second stage by the addition of at least two flocculants, the first of which is introduced into a suction eye of the pump supplying sludge to the first stage and the seccond into the discharge line of the pump. The first flocculant. may be a polymerized modified tannin and the second a polyacrylamide.
