Abstract

1309742 Cleaning windows J W DAVIDSON and H J G STANTIALL 19 March 1970 [19 March 1969] 14482/69 Heading A4F A light such as a porthole or a window 4 is provided with a cleaning unit comprising a bush 1 in which is rotatably mounted the arm of a wiper 11 having a blade 12 engaging a surface of the light, the wiper arm being hollow for the passage of cleaning liquid via orifices in the blade 12 to the light surface. The wiper 11 is oscillated or rotated by a knob 4, and the wiper arm may be of aluminium or plastics material, the blade 12 being formed integrally therewith or comprising a separate squeezee or brush.
