1308004 Change-speed gear NISSAN MOTOR CO Ltd 21 April 1970 [30 April 1969] 29253/72 Divided out of 1308001 Heading F2D Three reduced ratios, direct-drive and one reverse are provided by first and third sun-ring- planet trains 12a, 14 and a second, two-element train 13a, the planets P2 of which mesh their ring gear R2 and the planets P1 of the first train 12a, which are, together with the planets P2, carried by the output shaft 11, the remaining interconnections being as shown. A first clutch K1 drives from input 10 for all forward ratios; a second input clutch K2 to S1, S3 for directdrive and reverse; and three brakes B, B2 (in parallel with one-way brake 42), B3 are applied respectively for second, first or reverse, and third ratios. Ratios are specified and a graphical solution shown. Input and output shafts 10, 11 may be transposed.
