1307520 Floating roofs for liquid storage tanks S BOOTH HORROCKS & SON Ltd 5 March 1970 [18 March 1969] 14302/69 Heading E1T A protective plastics cover 2 for a swimming pool is supported above the level of the water in the pool by means of an inflated floating cylindrical support 5 which is secured to the cover by a plurality of centrally spaced straps 4. The cover is provided with peripheral eyelets by means of which it is anchored to the ground via spring tensioning units (Fig. 2). Instead of a single cylindrical support, one or more inflatable spheres may be used. The support may be formed integrally with the cover.
