A boat-shelter combination comprises a boat 1, means such as posts 4 (and guy ropes 6 attached to pegs 7) for supporting the boat upside down, a cover 2 for the boat, and flexible side walling material 8, so that a hut or shelter can be made by supporting the boat upside down on the support means above the cover which is put on the ground, and arranging the side walling material round the supporting means and/or the edges of the boat and cover.
