966,174. Grave surrounds. H. B. WALTER. June 11, 1963 [June 26, 1962], No. 23278/63. Heading E1A. A tombstone and grave surround consists of an assembly of concrete units comprising a plinth 9 slotted at 8 to receive the headstone 5, a plurality of surround wall slabs and corner slabs 11 all interconnected as by tongue-and-groove connections 15, 16, see also Fig. 3 (not shown) for a slight modification of the plinth 9. At least the front face of the headstone may be treated with a weather resistant synthetic resin, with or without filling material incorporated therein.
