1307369 Treating fabrics UNITED MERCHANTS & MFRS Inc 10 Sept 1970 [27 Nov 1969 11 Feb 1970] 57980/69 and 6509/70 Heading D1L Apparatus for treating textile fabrics in rope form comprises a tank having a bottom liquid chamber, a winch roller 22 disposed horizontally above the liquid chamber, a spiral guide member 40 in spaced parallel relation with the winch roller, an endless carrier chain 34 mounted for vertical orbital movement on an end wall 18 of the tank, first variable speed transmission means 96 connecting the winch roller and the carrier chain; second variable speed transmission means 72, 74, 80, 82 connecting the carrier chain and the spiral guide member, and guide means for the fabric loops carried by the spiral guide member.
