Abstract

1310541 Treating cloth SANDO IRON WORKS CO Ltd 19 May 1970 [19 May 1969 22 May 1969 16 June 1969 4 Nov 1969] 24236/70 Heading D1L A method of treating cloth, comprises passing the cloth 3 through a container 1 filled with treatment liquid, by means of guide rollers 4 and 4' so that the cloth traverses a zig-zag path through the container 1. Gas bubble generating pipes 5 and 5' are arranged to direct air bubbles into the areas between the cloth 3 and the guide rollers. The bubbles are compressed by the pressure of the cloth on the rollers and some bubbles pass through the cloth thereby improving the treatment. In another embodiment, shown in Fig. 6, a guide plate 104 can be inserted to guide the bubbles produced by pipe 103 to the area between the cloth and roller 101.
