[Also in Division F4] 7 Tubes removed from a washing or quenching bath by entrainment hooks 8 on chain 7 are emptied of liquid by rolling on to aligned recesses 6 on at least two support discs rotating with shaft 1, the radially innermost points of aligned recesses being in a line making an acute angle with the shaft axis so that a tube is tilted as the discs are rotated through 90 degrees. The tube may be held on the supports by friction or by stops.
