Abstract

1306679 Pilot-operated pressure regulators I V PRESSURE CONTROLLERS Ltd 12 Oct 1970 [26 Nov 1969] 57964/69 Heading G3P A pressure regulator has a main valve-member 21 biased to an open position by spring 26 loaded by piston or diaphragm 28 responsive to the outlet pressure of a pilot valve 11 whose valve-member responds to the outlet pressure of the main valve via 31 and optional pressure proportioner 33. Piston 22 of the main valve also responds to the outlet pressure via 24 to close the main valve when the outlet pressure balances the loading on piston or diaphragm 28.
