1,072,988. Fluid-pressure servomotor systems. ALLM€NNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA A.B. Oct. 1, 1964 [Oct. 5, 1963], No. 39942/64. Heading G3P. A pressure regulating valve comprises a main valve closure (8), controlling the flow from a conduit (1), (2) to a by-pass (9). A conduit (3) leads from the supply conduit to a chamber 6 and contains a throttle (4). A piston (7) is located in the chamber (6) and the pressure in this chamber acts on the piston to urge the valve (8) to its closed position, the area of the piston (7) being considerably greater than the area of the valve (8) subjected to the pressure in conduit (1), (2). A pilot valve (11) controls the flow from the chamber (6), the valve (11) being loaded by a solenoid (13). The valve (8) thus opens when the force due to the pressure in the conduit (1), (2) exceeds the force due to the pressure acting on the piston (7). The throttle (4) may be replaced by a constant flow valve.
