Abstract

The gas flows randomly through an equalizing chamber 4, which is defined in the tank 2 by an intermediate wall 3, the wall having openings 15 through which the gas flows into a calming chamber 5, and from there out of the nozzles 14. Preferably, the openings 5 are staggered with respect to the nozzles 14, and have a cross sectional area equal to that of the gas supply pipe 6. The volume of the equalizing chamber is a multiple of the volume of the calming chamber.
