Expanding-tables.-In an extensible table, the two end portions of the top, which are adapted to slide on an inexteneible frame, are connected together by levers so as to move simultaneously. The levers g turn on a fixed pivot f and have pin- and-slot connexions with the leaves b. In a modification, the levers are connected by links to the leaves b so as to operate in a similar manner to lazy-tongs.
