130,159. Roberts, J. T., and Johnson, L. July 25, 1918. Addition to 116,537. Transmission gear of invariable ratio. - In a motor-vehicle in which two driving wheels carried on an equalizing lever are mounted at each side of the vehicle and are driven by spur gearing from a centrally disposed differential as in the parent Specification, the equalizing levers are provided with hollow pivot members riding in a transverse member and the intermediate gearing is arranged near the road wheels. The road wheels are carried on short axles B projecting from the equalizing levers C, C<1> which are pivoted by means of the hollow members C<2> in a central member D. The driving- shafts F are provided with pinions G which drive intermediate pinions J in gear with spur wheels H on the road wheels. Vertical thrust on the central member D is taken by a shaped flange O<1> extending between the wheels.
