1301530 Dyeing and printing polyamides BADISCHE ANILIN-& SODA-FABRIK AG 3 June 1970 [4 June 1969] 26739/70 Heading D1B Unbonded polyamide needle-loom material is dyed or printed with a paste containing a dye and a solvent and 0.5 to 5% with reference to the weight of the paste of a thickener copolymer neutralized with ammonia which consists of 10 to 50% molar of maleic anhydride with reference to all the monomers, 20 to 50% molar of a vinyl ether and 0 to 40% of at least one other copolymerizable monomer, cross-linked with 0.2 to 5% by weight based on all the monomers of a crosslinking agent selected from polybasic amines, polyhydric alcohols or aminoalcohols. Acid dyes and disperse may be used, cross-linking agents include glycol, butanediol, hexamethylenediamine, mono-, di- and tri-ethanolamine, solvents include thiodiglycol, butyldiglycol, dimethylformamide, and triglycol.
