Abstract

1300709 Mop A TSANG NG FAI 19 Nov 1971 53809/71 Heading A4F A mop comprises a cover 5 slidable along the handle 1 so as to engage the mop head, the cover decreasing in cross-section away from the mop head and being provided with spiral flutes so that the mop head may be compressed and wrung by the cover. The cover has a handle 6. The mop head may be detachably secured to the handle as shown in Fig. 5. The mop head is engaged by a loop 13 connecting the two halves 12a, 12b of a split sleeve. Each half of the split sleeve has a lug 11 for engaging a hole 10 in the end of the handle, and a threaded member 14 is provided to secure the sleeve in position on the handle.
