1299903 Radial piston pump or motor VOITH GETRIEBE K G 22 Dec 1969 [21 Dec 1968] 62399/69 Heading F1A In a rotary cylinder radial piston hydraulic pump or motor, the rotor 5 is mounted on a pintle 28 held against axial movement and rotation by a ring 43 and pins 44, 45, the pintle having inlet and outlet slots 33, 34 communicating with inlet and outlet ducts 2, 42 via axial passages 31, 32 and radial passages 39, 40, and a pair of axially spaced, preferably oval shaped, pressure balancing recesses, 33a, 33b, 34a, 34b diametrically opposite each slot 33, 34 respectively, and communicating therewith via bores 51, 50.
