Abstract
1299803 Arc lamps HUMPHREYS CORP 2 Feb 1970 [3 Feb 1969] 52022/71 Divided out of 1299802 Addition to 1231095 Heading H1X [Also in Division H5] The induction plasma generator of Claim 1 of Specification 1,231,095, i.e. with a plurality of axially extending tubes for fluid coolant providing the plasma chamber defining structure, is modified in that the upper ends of each pair of tubes 280 are soldered together to provide a return coolant flow passage. A buffer tube 202, Fig. 1 (not shown), may be provided in an embodiment disclosed also in Specification 1,299,802, from which this Specification is divided. The generator is used as a highly radiative light source.
