Abstract

1297456 Bottle crates JOHN DALE Ltd 18 June 1971 [21 April 1971] 10500/71 Addition to 1181516 Heading B8P In a bottle "half" crate having recesses 15 disposed in channels 11-14 on its underside for receiving the tops of bottles, in a crate below at least some of the recesses 15 have their centres disposed eccentrically relative to the axis of the associated bottle, compartment so that bottles engaged by these eccentric recesses are tilted and lean against the inner sides of the compartments of the lower crate. The inside wall (17, Fig. 2) of each recess is chamfered and includes an annular shoulder (18, Fig. 2) so that bottles with or without tops may be located in the recesses. The corners of the crate are formed with outside strengthening walls 5.
