Valve-gear.-Each cylinder has four valves controlled by two parallel overhead cam shafts geared together by means of spur-wheels D<3>, which may be disposed at any point along the length of the shafts, between two adjacent cylinders. The cam-shaft bearings E<2> are placed between pairs of cams.
