Abstract

1296139 Anchors P J KLAREN 10 April 1970 17205/70 Heading B7S A mooring anchor has a single fluke 2 fixed to an end of shank 1 at an angle of from 32 to 38 degrees and the fluke is a single flat plate provided with laterally extending stabilizer wings 6 and 7 with swept back leading edges. In the embodiment shown each stabilizer wing is triangular with its trailing edge in line with the trailing edge of the fluke and their leading edges are bevelled.
