Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an anchor with strongly stable mooring force, by providing a fluke having a stabilizer to its rear part in a shank main body and triggers at both sides of a shank curved part.
CONSTITUTION: A fluke 2, formed with its point end part 2a to a sharp angle and provided with a stabilizer 3 at its base part, is mounted to a shank 1. The fluke 2 and the stabilizer 3 are formed to make their angle of intersection at 140°, while the fluke 2 is formed with an opening angle β of 25°. A ring 4 for chain connection is provided in the point end part of the shank 1, and triggers 6 are provided in both sides of a curved part of the shank 1 in such a manner that the trigger crosses with a horizontal line at an angle γ of 60°.
