Abstract

1294421 Revaporization of liquefied gases CHICAGO BRIDGE & IRON CO 19 April 1971 [8 May 1970] 9851/71 Heading F4P Revaporization of liquefied gas e.g., natural gas, propane, butane and nitrogen is effected by passing it through a tube 40 and spray head 41 into a tube 36 to 39 where it is intimately contacted with hot combustion products of a fuel gas having been ignited at electrodes 35; the resulting gaseous mixture being withdrawn at 52 from an annular space between said tube and a surrounding tube 42. Condensed water is withdrawn at 53 and cooling of the said gaseous mixture is effected by direct contact with liquefied gas issuing from a spray 62.
