Abstract

1294318 Valves D F LOBLICK 30 June 1970 [4 July 1969] 31591/70 Divided out of 1294316 Heading F2V [Also in Division B8] A valve used for controlling a dockboard operating ram (see Division B8) includes an adjustably spring biased valve member 40 slidable within a stepped bore in a body part 35 and adapted at various positions of movement along the bore, as determined by the pressure supply, to couple either a fluid pressure inlet 50 through a non-return ball valve 29a to the ram supply outlet 51, or the outlet 51 through a bore 56 to an outlet 52 to reservoir. Excessive fluid pressure supplied to the valve causes the member 40 to move into a position coupling the inlet 50 directly to the reservoir outlet 52 through bore 58.
