Abstract

1293313 Clocks and watches CITIZEN WATCH Co Ltd 19 April 1971 [28 March 1970 31 March 1970 25 Dec 1970] 25662/71 Heading G3T A timebase mechanical vibrator has three parallel oscillatory arms 10b, 10b<SP>1</SP> and 10c, the ratio of the width of each of the outer arms to that of the central arm being n:2 where n is a positive integer larger than unity. The outer arms respectively carry the sensing magnet 17 and the drive magnet 18, associated with the coils 20,21 connected in the transistor circuit 23. The central arm 10c carries at its free end an indexing magnet 19 which co-operates with a magnetic wheel 22 having teeth 22a and apertures 22b, the wheel being the drive for the conventional time-piece gear train.
