Abstract

1293007 Screen stencilling machines A B MAITLAND 30 Sept 1971 [30 June 1970] 31747/70 Heading B6C A paint manufacturer's colour chart is printed in a screen stencilling machine by spraying the various coloured inks through square apertures in the stencil 1 as the copy paper is moved by a rotating impression cylinder in contact with the underside of the stencil which is moving at the same speed. Valve and cam means are used to ensure that only those apertures 10 and colour jets 9 which are arranged along the line of contact between the stencil and the cylinder are operational. Each copy sheet 12 is removed from a feed belt 4 by the impression cylinder and after receiving the necessary printing the finished product is removed from delivery belt 5.
