1292503 Composition for treating psoriasis P BRITZ R E LEE and J A DEVINE 14 Sept 1970 43755/70 Heading A5B A solution for treating psoriasis is constituted of ethyl alcohol and liquor carbonis detergens in proportions of the former to the latter by volume in the range of 30:70 to 75:25, 0.5 to 1.25% by weight of salicylic acid and 1 to 3.5% by weight of ethylaminobenzoate, both weight proportions being based on the total weight of the ethyl alcohol and the liquor carbonis detergens, the ethyl alcohol being absolute or aqueous containing no less than 50% by volume of ethyl alcohol, the proportions of ethyl alcohol to liquor carbonis detergens being calculated on the basis of aqueous ethyl alcohol containing 70% by volume of absolute ethyl alcohol with the water calculated as part of the ethyl alcohol and with the exclusion of aqueous ethyl alcohol comprising the liquor carbonis detergens.
