1496915 Sealed coolant circuit MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG - NURNBERG AG 1 Aug 1975 [7 Aug 1974] 32200/75 Heading C4X A sealed coolant circuit, with a coolant therein, is characterized in that the coolant is substantially a mixture of water and the isomers 1-methoxypropanol-2 and 2-methoxy-propanol-1, the proportion, in the mixture, of the combined weight of the two isomers to the weight of water being such that the mixture is substantially or precisely an azeotropic mixture consisting of 53% by weight of the isomers and 47% by weight of water. The isomers may be prepared by the addition of propylene oxide to methyl alcohol.
