Abstract

1292019 Sparking plugs DAIMLER-BENZ A G 19 April 1971 [17 March 1970] 23918/71 Heading F1B A sparking plug particularly for a rotary piston engine comprises a plug casing 3 which serves at one end as the outer electrode 4, and a seal 5 of sealing material between the insulator 2 and the casing, the casing being made wholly or partially of a material having good thermal conductivity at least between the position of the sealing material and a shoulder 8 by which the casing is adapted to abut against the engine housing. The material of good thermal conductivity may be copper or copper alloy.
