Abstract

1291640 Coke-guide trolleys HARTUNGKUHN & CO MASCHINENFABRIK GmbH 17 April 1970 [23 April 1969] 18552/70 Heading F4B A coke-guide trolley 10 running on wheels 8 mounted on a frame 9 includes a coke guide 12. The guide comprises strengthening section members 13 on which horizontal U-irons 14 are disposed, the U-irons forming side walls 15, 16 which extend upwardly from a guide trough 17. The parts of the side walls 15a, 16a nearest the oven 1 are connected to rear side-wall ports 15b, 16b by pivot bearings 25, 26, the separated rear trough part 17b being divided into longitudinal halves 17b, 17c and being adapted to pivot outwardly, in the inoperative position, into a plane parallel to the intended direction of movement of the coke-guide trolley. Due to the space left clear in front of the chamber 3 when the guide 12 is in its retracted position, a door support 40 is disposed on one side of the coke guide and a door-frame cleaner 41 on the other.
