1291295 Electric selectors INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 10 June 1970 [18 June 1969] 28093/70 Heading H1L [Also in Division G4] An electric selector comprises a central core 9 and a star arrangement of armatures 2 which move sequentially and cumulatively to operated position, each operator 1, Fig. 2, having a projection 6 closing one pair of contacts 3 at the same time as another projection 5 opens the preceding pair 4. The armatures 2 are secured to a ring, Fig. 6, by flexible waists 19. The material is such as to be magnetically saturated when the armature 2 is attracted and reverts to maximum permeability when the field is removed.
