1287776 Cable insulation CEAT SpA 23 Oct 1969 [23 Oct 1968] 52028/69 Heading H1A An electric supply cable for electric furnaces comprises a conductive core coated with an inner sheath of polychloroprene (a chlorinated elastomer), and an outer sheath of a substance containing a fluoridized elastomer. The substance may contain about 65% fluorine and has a specific gravity of 1.85 and a Mooney viscosity of 35-45. The outer sheath may be applied to the cable by conventional rubber extrusion coating or bonded by rubber cements.
