Abstract

1286579 Pressure cookers MOULINEX SA 11 Dec 1970 [11 Dec 1969] 59063/70 Heading B1X The lid 12 of a pressure cooker is secured in sealing engagement with the body of the device by a yoke 28 which engages flanges 32 fixed to the body when a screw 20 is turned by means of a handle 22 to raise the yoke and depress the lid by engagement with a bearing formed by a cap 48 and a recessed insert 50 secured to the lid. A ball-type safety valve 62 is maintained under tension against an orifice 64 in the lid 12 by means of a spring 66 which is compressed by the cap 48.
