1284919 Wheeled golf bag H F POTTER 17 Nov 1971 [27 Dec 1969] 62980/69 Heading A6D [Also in Division B7] A wheeled golf bag has a separate or integral bag on a collapsible chassis which comprises a pair of wheels 6 carried on arms 8 pivotally attached at 10 to the ends of a rod 7 on the chassis, the arms being connected by a first spreader bar 9 pivoted at its centre. Two further spreader bars are connected via rod 7' to the ends of arms 8 and serve to hold the wheels away from the trolley, the first spreader bar acting to splay the arms sideways. Small springs 12 may be provided at joints 10 to absorb the strain of sideways movement. The chassis also has a telescopically collapsible and reversible handle.
