Abstract

1284528 Shelving VERSATILE FITTINGS (WHS) Ltd and D H PEACOCK 5 Jan 1971 [18 Sept 1970] 44669/70 Heading A4B Display apparatus includes an upright 12 formed with a series of vertically spaced slots and a shelf support bracket 23 with a fixed coplanar, hooked tongue at its inner end selectively engaged in one of the slots, the outer end of the bracket carrying a depending strut 25, the outer end of the bracket being supported by engagement of the bracket end or by one of two abutments 31, 32 on the strut 25 with a fixed pin 16 carried by a foot 11 of the upright 12. The arrangement is such that the inclination of the bracket may be varied by engaging the bracket with different slots and utilising different abutments of the outer end of the bracket. The foot may extend on both sides of the upright 12. A downwardly flange shelf end is treated between one wall 28 of the bracket and a tongue 30 bent out of the opposite wall 27. The display apparatus is also described in Specification 1284527.
