Side stringers d are threaded through holes in the frames or ribs. A large number of thin subframes or ribs e are arranged between the stringers d and the planking f. Rubbing-pieces and/or bilge walls m, n are arranged in alinement with the stringers d. A hog piece h, keel k, and engine bearers o also form part of the structure.
