Abstract

1281479 Joints GRAFISET SYSTEM AB 18 Dec 1970 [19 Dec 1969] 60269/70 Heading A4H [Also in Divisions E1 E2 and F2] A member for coupling a building unit 10 to a building unit 12 consists of a casing 14 housing a ram 13 provided with a shoulder 16 which engages the unit 12. A locking device 21 surrounds the ram and is positioned within a hole 11 in the casing. The ram is provided with recesses 17, 19, the sloping planes 18 of which are at right angles to each other. Tightening of the screw 15 in a threaded hole in the locking device 21 causes its lower end to shut one of the sloping planes 18 and so causes the ram to be drawn to the left and lock the unit 12 against the unit 10. The casing may be rotated through a right angle prior to insertion to the unit 10 to allow the screw to abut the other sloping plane.
