Non-metallic elastic bodies and cores. -A cushion tvre comprising a soft-rubber tread and hard-rub. ber base portion is formed with two series of transverse apertures c, d, interposed fabric reinforcement g, and helical cord &c. windings m. The radially-outer wall of each aperture is curved as shown, those of the outer series being also arched transversely. The cords m are looped around the hooked ends i of transverse wires j which also support circumferential wires k. Specification 128,063 is referred to.
