Abstract

1280051 Milk powder NESTLES PRODUCTS Ltd 21 Dec 1970 [22 Jan 1970] 3114/ 70 Headings A2B A2D A milk powder is prepared by heating milk to 100-140‹C for 5-45 mins in the presence of sugar in an amount corresponding to 2 to 25% by weight of the milk solids present and then drying the mixture -produced. A suitable sugar is sucrose, glucose or invert sugar. The drying may be carried out by spray, roller or vacuum techniques. The powder may be utilised in the preparation of white or milk chocolate. The powder has improved storage properties.
