Abstract
1278326 Insulating cables FELTEN & GUILLEAUME CARLSWERK AG 8 July 1969 [8 July 1968] 25308/69 Heading H1A A high voltage electrical cable is insulated with an unlinked and electrically insulative solid olefin polymer containing about 5% carbon black by weight as a voltage stabilizer. Carbon black of particle size less than 300 Š units is distributed uniformly in the polymer used as the primary insulation for cables rated above 30 KV. The addition of carbon black is stated to improve the resistance to glow discharge and insulation breakdown.
