Abstract

1276721 Laminated leaf spring clips JONAS WOODHEAD Ltd 20 April 1970 [5 May 1969] 22846/69 Heading F2S [Also in Division E2] The leaves 24, 26 of a laminated leaf spring are held together by a two-part clip 10, 11 made of resilient material, e.g. plastics. The part 10 is U-shaped and has feet 12 which engage in recesses (14, Fig. 3, not shown) in part 11. The part 11 may also have a recess 18 for the insertion of a leaf spring button 22, 23 between the leaves. The clip is assembled around the spring by sliding the feet into the recesses until projections 13 on the feet snap into recesses 17 in the main recesses (14). The overhanging tongues 16 prevent removal of the feet 12 from the recesses (14).
