Abstract

1275052 Push chairs RALEIGH INDUSTRIES Ltd 25 June 1969 [16 Aug 1968] 39215/68 Heading B7B A foldable push chair has a latch which is selflatching on unfolding the chair and requires manipulation for unlatching, the latch comprising a spring-loaded bolt 14 engageable in a keeper 20. The bolt extends through a housing 15 containing spring 17, and has a cam surface 21 which slides over cam surface 22 on sleeve 20 on erection of the chair. In Fig. 3 (not shown), a keeper (30) has a slit between resiliently displaceable side walls through which the bolt enters.
