1275049 Baked pastry products IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 7 Aug 1969 [15 Aug 1968] 39027/68 Heading A2B A method of manufacturing a baked pastry product containing a jellied food filling comprises mixing raw or partially cooked meat or fruit particles with a suspension of agar in an aqueous solution or partial solution of a water soluble cellulose ester or ether to form a pie filling, covering the filling with pastry and thereafter heating to bake the pastry and cook the filling, the agar being present in sufficient quantity to bind the food particles together in an edible structured gel on cooling.
