786,217. Meat and potato products. NEWLAND, D. April 28, 1955, No. 12312/55. Class 49. A " full meal " product comprises a mass of meat food, e.g. ham, a hamburger, a sausage, enveloped in a coating of precooked potato. In preparing the product, the meat food may be provided with an adhesive layer for better attachment of the precooked potato, e.g. the meat mass may be dipped in a batter of egg, milk, and flour and heated for a short time to harden the batter before a homogeneous mash of cooked potato containing pepper and salt is applied. Fig. 3 illustrates a wiener 12, a batter layer 11 and the cooked potato 10, a handling stock 13 being inserted in the wiener. The products may be kept in refrigerated condition, and reheated as required.
