Knock-down boxes; lids; corner joints.-A corrugated cardboard or like box having a collapsible tubular body part is provided with a removable bottom F adapted to rest on cardboard strips C, C<1> secured flat against some or all of the sides of the body part. The bottom F may be formed with two downturned extensions F<2>, and the parts C, C' may have extensions adapted to be turned down so as to constitute horizontal flanges for supporting the bottom F. The lid G of the box has flanges G<4> engaging inside the 'box body, and flanges G<3> engaging outside the box body. The lid is secured by external cords passed through holes H in the base of the box.
