Abstract

1,270,924. Continuity tester. ALBERSFIELDS ELECTRONIC ENG CO Ltd. June 30, 1969 [April 1, 1968], No.15642/68. Heading G1U. A continuity tester incorporates a two stage oscillator circuit having a first, oscillator, stage comprising a transistor 22 and a separate transistor amplifier second stage 32, there being a connection from the output of the amplifier stage to the base of the transistor of the first stage to provide regenerative feedback. The tester is connectible to a low voltage D.C. energizing source 9 and incorporates test probes 16 enabling a connection to be completed between the D.C. source and the oscillator circuit if the element being tested is conductive. An indicator e.g. a loudspeaker 20 responds to oscillation of the circuit.
