Abstract
1522377 In-circuit testing S V UGOLNIKOV S P KOSACH V D KAPLUN V I ZHITNIK and A Y BULGAKOV 18 Aug 1975 34219/75 In-circuit testing of a three-terminal component, such as a transistor 10, Fig. 1, is effected by using operational amplifiers such as 17, 19, 21, 24, to clamp various points to earth and thereby prevent any interactions. As shown a negative potential from a source 1 is applied to the emitter of transistor 10 and its base and collector are clamped to earth by amplifiers 17 and 19 respectively. The amplifier output voltages then represent the base and collector currents, which can either be read from meters 28 and 29, or whose ratio can be determined by an arrangement 33.
