Abstract
1,270,037. Electric timepieces. FABRIQUE D'HORLOGERIE CHS TISSOT & FILS S.A. June 18, 1969 [June 19, 1968], No. 30948/69. Heading G3T. An electromagnetically maintained oscillating balance for a timepiece comprises a magnetic flux generator, e.g. comprising magnets 2, 3, 4, fast with the regulator 1 and an astable multivibrator comprising two complementary transistors T 1 , T 2 and a pick-up and drive coil R L , cooperating with the generator, and an RC circuit C p , R p or C s , R s is connected to the base of each transistor, the capacitor C p or C s being in series with the base and with the collector of the other transistor, whereby the characteristic repetition period of the multi-vibrator and the duration of the current pulses passing through the coil R L remain substantially constant throughout a given operating temperature range.
